Networked Controllers require (as the name indicates), network connectivity, and that users have an account. Once an account has been established and funded with a balance, proceeds to a copier, multifuncion device, or print release station that is controlled
Easily and efficiently recover costs by requiring cardholders to purchase photocopies, laser printouts, microfiche readings/printouts, and other reprographic services utilizing a card or an account.
Stored-Value equipment does not require accounts, as the balance information is stored directly on the card itself. Users insert a valid card, that has been purchased from a Revalue Station and the available balance is displayed. The controlled equipment is "enabled" and the user can continue with their copying or printing.
